Removal and Appeals
Last updated: 2026-10-09
Moderation decisions should be explainable, reviewable, and recorded. The public beta uses a verified manual process instead of an in-account appeal system.
What you receive
When practical, a removal notice identifies the affected content, the rule applied, and whether an appeal is available. Serious safety or legal risks may limit the detail we can provide.
How to appeal
Contact PickPOV from the email linked to your account, identify the affected debate or reason, and add concise context. Do not repost the removed content. We verify account control before reviewing private details.
How reviews work
An authorized reviewer considers the content, its bound parent version, nearby replies, report density, and relevant enforcement history. The result is recorded in the audit log. An appeal does not guarantee restoration.
Target response times
During beta, PickPOV aims to acknowledge ordinary requests within 48 hours and urgent safety requests within 24 hours. These are operating targets, not guaranteed resolution times.
Account deletion requests
A request recorded in Settings starts a minimum 14-day hold and restricts normal account use. Use the contact below from the linked email to withdraw the request or ask about its status. An authorized operator, not an automatic job, completes the verified request.
